According to Mind
, at least one in six workers experience common mental health problems at some point during their working lives. As an employer you have a duty to look after your employees’ mental health as much as you would their physical health and safety.
It is a fact that the COVID-19 pandemic, home working and lockdown restrictions have had a significant impact on the mental health and wellbeing of a large proportion of the population.
At Sureteam, we offer a range of courses that can provide support to your teams to not only identify and support colleagues that are having problems but help with practical tips in areas such as poor sleep quality.
What you can expect from taking a mental health and wellbeing course
The aim of our training is to provide you and your employees with a more supportive and understanding workplace. You can expect to enhance your interpersonal skills, giving you the confidence to step in and offer help to those who may need it.
We will also train you and your staff in practical skills such as coping mechanisms, and aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, while increasing both awareness and support for your employees.
Courses can be taken remotely via online platforms such Zoom or Teams, in person or via E-Learning courses.
