Highfield Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF)
This course is designed to provide learners with essential knowledge about fire safety and help them to not only understand how to prevent a fire from starting but what to do and how to act should one occur.
The learner will spend the time with a specialist trainer learning about the main causes and effects of fire in the workplace, general fire awareness and the responsibilities of all those involved as well as prevention techniques.
Course Delivery
Trainer-led either face-to-face or remotely via online video conferencing.
Suitable Attendees
Any member of staff, particularly new starters or where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.
Qualification Assessment
The qualification is assessed by a 30 minute multiple-choice examination.
Accreditations
Sits on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) regulated by Ofqual and is certified by Highfield Training.
Course Duration
Learners should expect to undertake 4 hours of guided learning.
