Asbestos Awareness
Until it was identified as a harmful substance Asbestos was frequently used in buildings for strength, fire safety and insulation.
The Control of Asbestos Regulations came into force in 2006 and has since been updated in 2012. These regulations state that mandatory training is required for anyone who is liable to be exposed to Asbestos fibres in the workplace.
If you or one of your employees is liable to disturb asbestos during your normal work then you need to ensure that everyone involved has the correct training to ensure a safe working environment and to eliminate or reduce the risks involved.
Our Asbestos Awareness training course will provide you will the essential information and knowledge that workers and supervisors will need to avoid work that may disturb asbestos fibres. If you are likely to disturb asbestos in the course of your work then further training will be required.
