Health and Safety Law poster
Employers have a legal duty under the Health and Safety Information for Employees Regulations (HSIER) to display the approved Health and Safety Law poster in a prominent position in each workplace or to provide each worker with a copy of the approved leaflet which can be downloaded free of charge from the HSE website.
The poster was updated in 2009 to make it more engaging and readable with the responsibilities of both employers and employees being clearly set out so everyone knows what is expected of them to enable safe working. Since April 2014 the old version of the poster should no longer be displayed – if your poster doesn’t look like this you can purchase the new version from Sureteam.
